BESTDAYS VINTAGE: THE VINTAGE REVOLUTION

Looking at the title of this post, you're probably wondering what a post about fashion is doing within a blog overflowing with gig reviews, album releases and interviews, but for any music lover having the right look or the right outfit for a gig is essential and this is where Bestdays Vintage comes in. It seems more and more people are jumping on the bandwagon of old baggy denim jackets and oversized sweatshirts, and it's safe to say that Bestdays isn't short in supplying this to all the vintage lovers in Colchester. With selling everything from flannel shirts to dungarees to velvet shorts, even if you're not a vintage clothing lover, there is bound to be something in there worth a sneaky purchase and they might even be able to convert you to the second hand life! With most shops, you are usually left to fend for yourself and walk in overwhelmed by all the clothes and think to yourself; 'well, where do i start?' but Bestdays is quite the opposite, being welcomed in with a friendly hello and a smile and a conversation about how your day went once at the till, it's nearly impossible not to get help in what to buy or not to go back to see the staff again. With me going in a few times every week, Bestdays has become my second home and the staff like my family, and within the shop bonding with the customers is so important to the staff too, as a wall of polaroids of customers posing with their bags and in their gorgeous clothes has been crafted on the wall near the till, so the staff and customers can be reminded of their stellar customer service everytime they sell a new product or a new customer comes in and is immediately shown what a homely place it really is.

Not only do Bestdays have a customer service that will make you miss the store as soon as you leave, they also hold regular gigs in which all the gig-goers from Colchester can attend and discover new local music and have a quality night out at the same time. They have the whole package right?

You might be thinking 'but I don't live in Colchester how will I be able to discover all these things which Bestdays has to offer?', unfortunately if you aren't able to get to Colchester then you will not be able to experience the stellar customer service and the banging gigs they put on, but you will still be able to buy the amazing vintage clothes that they sell on their ASOS marketplace which has loads of items which are being sold in store and more including their own brand items.
