MONTHLY PLAYLIST - FEBRUARY

01. Boys That Sing - Viola Beach

There is barely anybody who hasn't heard of the tragic news of Viola Beach's accident and all four bandmembers and their manager passing away in Stockholm last week. Ever since, there were people all over trying to get their song "Swings & Waterslides" to Number 1 in the Charts as a tribute, and it actually happened! Of course we had to include a song of theirs in our playlist as well. Taken far too soon, we will never forget these young british guys who played their way into our hearts.

02. Easier Said - Sunflower Bean

The first full length record of Sunflower Bean wasn't a disappointment, and it so happens that the first single of the album "Human Ceremony", entitled "Easier Said", is just a glimpse of what else there is to discover on the album. Catch dream-pop vibes along with guitar melodies, definitely worth a listen.

03. Somebody Else -The 1975

I first listened to this song driving in the car in the late evening darkness; and I think that's exactly what I'd describe it as, in contrast to the previously released songs that are going to be on their sophomore album "I like it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it." A sad, and insanely honest song that makes you want to drive off to nowhere with no intentions and think about a lot of things.

04. This Isn't Love - VITAMIN

Once again I find myself to say that if this isn't love, then I don't know what is. After their second and latest EP dropping in November, everybody couldn't wait to here more of them. To cut it short, a little of Vitamin(s) never hurt nobody - so don't miss out.

05. The Less I Know The Better- Tame Impala

Found myself re-listening to Tame Impala's Currents this week, and I don't think I have to warrant myself for choosing one of the songs for monthly Playlist Number 1. Great album, great song with great production, wouldn't expect anything else from this band either.

06. Golden City - Coasts

Nothing does represent Coasts' sound more than their own band name does- with the release of the bands' debut album last month, it is safe to say that every song of theirs make you feel like summer, even if it's mid February.

07. No Healing - Fox Chapel

As the final song of this week we have the energetic track "No Healing" by Northampton's indie fourpiece Fox Chapel. The track was not only their very impressing debut single, but of course also part of the four track long EP "Frames". As the entire EP is up on soundcloud for everyone to listen to for free, you should definately check them out if you haven't already.
